Cascades Week

Join fellow students and employees for the annual Day of Campus Care, a community volunteer day focused on campus beautification and stewardship. Volunteer projects will take place across campus throughout the day and are designed to improve and refresh the spaces we all share.

Participants may register for a morning shift, afternoon shift, or both. Morning projects will take place from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., followed by a complimentary pizza and soda lunch from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m for all volunteers. in RAYH Atrium. Afternoon projects will take place from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

You are encouraged to arrive at the beginning of your selected timeslot, but volunteers are welcome to come and go as needed and are not required to stay for the entire shift. All volunteers will receive a free Day of Campus Care long sleeve t-shirt while supplies last.

Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothing appropriate for outdoor and light cleaning work. Gloves are encouraged for applicable projects.

Registration is required. Participants will select their preferred shift(s) and volunteer project during registration.

Kick off Cascades Week with a family-friendly movie night featuring Disney-Pixar’s Hoppers! Join fellow students, employees, friends, and family members for an evening of fun, community, and a brand-new animated adventure featuring a beaver main character.

Students and employees are welcome to bring up to five family members or friends to attend the screening. Complimentary popcorn will be provided throughout the event. Students will also have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a Hoppers-themed prize basket valued at approximately $150.

Celebrate and recognize the outstanding contributions of OSU-Cascades staff and faculty during this annual recognition event presented by Academic Faculty Council (AFC) and Staff Executive Council (SEC).

Explore student-led research, scholarship, and creative work during this annual campus showcase featuring projects, presentations, and talks across disciplines.

Experience the annual showcase of Outdoor Products student projects and visit the OP:EN Studio during this public open house highlighting innovation, design, and hands-on learning.

Celebrate the end of the week with food, fun, and campus spirit. Stop by throughout the day for morning donuts and coffee, a discounted lunch special, and afternoon ice cream.
