Headwaters 2025 - Whitewater Rafting Trip

Start your journey at OSU-Cascades by exploring Bend's backyard while whitewater rafting! Connect with fellow students while paddling on the water in the beautiful Deschutes River. After getting off the water, enjoy newfound friendships while we car camp next to the river and sleep in the cool, crisp air underneath the stars. 

We welcome all experience levels for this trip. Please note that this trip is designed for people who have little to no experience with whitewater rafting. The nature of the trip and difficulty will reflect this intention. If you are highly experienced and/or looking for an advanced whitewater rafting trip to push your limits, please understand this might not be the trip for you.

All first-year students are welcome! This Headwaters Trip is only open to new students to the OSU-Cascades campus. This includes traditional first-year students and brand-new transfer students from other campuses (including OSU Corvallis) starting in the current summer or fall term. If you do not match the above requirement, you will not be allowed to register for this Headwaters trip.
