Headwaters 2026 - Rock Climbing Trip

Start your journey at OSU-Cascades by exploring new heights while top-rope rock climbing! Experience the exquisite rock that is unique to Central Oregon and learn how to rock climb. Enjoy the unique feeling that only comes from climbing and helping support each other in your group while tackling the challenges of each route up the rock. Don’t forget to enjoy the view once you are at the top! Return to camp after a full day to share stories and laughs with new friends before falling asleep underneath the stars each night. 

We welcome all experience levels for this trip. Please note that this trip is designed for people who have little to no experience with whitewater rafting. The nature of the trip and difficulty will reflect this intention. If you are highly experienced and/or looking for an advanced backpacking trip to push your limits, please understand this might not be the trip for you.

All first-year students are welcome. This Headwaters Trip is only open to new students to the OSU-Cascades campus. This includes traditional first-year students and brand-new transfer students from other campuses (including OSU Corvallis) starting in the current summer or fall term. If you do not match the above requirement, you will not be allowed to register for this Headwaters trip.
