Hybrid Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Course - April 25-27 & May 3-4, 2025

Enjoy playing in the outdoors and want a better understanding of wilderness medicine!? Obtaining your Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is a great way to help prepare you for the unexpected while you are out in the great outdoors! This certification is required for many guiding positions and outdoor industry jobs as well! This course's curriculum and instructor are supplied by the Wilderness Medical Training Center (WMTC).

By registering for this course, you will be registering for BOTH Part 1 and Part 2 of this Hybrid WFR course.

Part 1: Independent Study (online only by WMTC) - Online theory coursework must be completed and required tests passed before the start of Part 2. It will be approximately 40 hours of online work.

Part 2: In-Person Practical Session (sponsored by Cascades Adventures) - On-campus with WMTC instructor April 25-27 & May 3-4, 2025.

Staff & Faculty - $600
General Public - $850
