TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) at OSU Cascades fosters an institutional climate supportive of the success of First-Generation in college, Pell-Eligible and students with documented disabilities, by providing opportunities for academic growth and development throughout a student's college career. It promotes progress through advocacy and services to assist with basic college requirements and serves to motivate students toward the successful completion of their post-secondary education and beyond their college career. Students who are First-Generation in college, Pell-Eligible, and/or have a documented disability are eligible for TRIO SSS services and encouraged to apply throughout the year. We admit new and continuing students of any class standing, including first-years, transfers, and continuing juniors and seniors. TRIO SSS participants receive the following services: • Professional Academic Counseling • One on One and small group Tutoring Services • Student Success Workshops • Career Guidance and Professional Development • Financial Aid and Scholarships Resources • Peer Mentoring Program • Service and Leadership Initiatives • Laptop and Calculator Loan Program • Social and Cultural Events • Summer Bridge Program for Incoming Students • Tuition Free Student Success Courses
