Arrive early to hike a local trail, explore downtown Bend, or shop and dine in the Old Mill District.

Brunch with Sherm Bloomer, Chancellor and Dean
11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Beaver Dam
Connect with other families over brunch prepared by Beaver Dam chefs. Learn about campus developments and involvement opportunities.
CSU-Cascades Showcase
1 to 3 p.m. in Bruckner Courtyard
Open houses and sessions across campus:
• Visit the FORCE lab
• Tour the Makerspace
• Attend workshops to learn more about supporting your student
Start at the Welcome Tent in Bruckner Courtyard, between Obsidian Hall and Tykeson Hall.
Football Watch Party
7 p.m. in Tykeson 111
Cheer for the Beavers as they play the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Discovery Dash 2024
This is a parents, families, student, staff, faculty and community member fun walk, run or roll event! Held at OSU-Cascades, we will adventure around the campus on a community-building wellness activity.
Event check-in will start at Bruckner Courtyard exactly at 10:00 AM with the race starting at approximately 10:30 AM, so be sure to arrive early, check-out some of the resources available, enjoy some fun music, and meet new people! All ability levels are able to participate, from our uber-competitive runners to the casual family stroller.
We will have a 2.5K and 5K option for our campus course!
Experience will conclude right back at the start of the event (Bruckner Courtyard), and folks can stay and mingle as long as they like, along with refreshments and an opportunity for some family and community connections before folks head home from Parent & Family Weekend.
