Welcome to the first edition of "The Career Edge" weekly career and self development newsletter. This is your weekly source of Cascades Edge events and information, career tips, on-campus job and research opportunities, success stories, and more.

What is Cascades Edge?

Cascades Edge offers every student intentional and integrated career and self development experiences, every term. Through courses and co-curricular activities, you’ll gain essential skills and knowledge to excel both personally and professionally.

Career and Self Development

Every term, you'll engage in intentional and integrated career and self development activities. These activities, curated to your academic standing, will help you explore your interests, plan your self development, and land new experiences. Here's how it works:

1. Explore It: Participate in an introductory college and career course, career fairs, and industry guest speaker events to gain insights into potential career paths.
2. Plan It: Design your personal action plan, identifying your goals and mapping out the steps to achieve them.
3. Land It: Every term, take advantage of opportunities like internships, research projects, and experiential learning to gain hands-on experience and build valuable connections in your chosen field. Then, find and apply for post-graduation opportunities that are right for you
