Hybrid Wilderness First Responder (WFR)-Recertification Course - Feb. 7 & 8, 2026

Do you have a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification that is about to expire!? This hybrid Wilderness First Responder Recertification (WFR-R) course is the course to renew your WFR certification and keeps you prepared for the mishaps and accidents that might occur while playing in the great outdoors.

This course is a Wilderness Medicine Training Center (WMTC) WFR-R course. Additionally, this certification includes Adult & Child Wilderness CPR & AED.

This hybrid course requires completion of both Part 1 and Part 2. Part 1 is online theoretical work with tests that need to be completed before February 6th, 2026. Part 2 is the in-person practical portion of the WFR-R curriculum that will take place on campus from February 7th to 8th, 2026. The course does not have an overnight component, but please expect to be in the course from about 7:30 am to 7 pm both days.

Course Fees (for the complete course, both Part 1 & Part 2):
- General Public = $325
- Staff & Faculty = $250
- Students = $150
