Confidence is a 28-minute human-interest documentary that takes viewers on an intimate journey into the unseen layers of personal identity and resilience. Through heartfelt stories from local community members of diverse backgrounds, the film unearths the universal struggles hidden beneath our polished exteriors—insecurities, triumphs, and the quiet strength it takes to navigate the world.

At its core, Confidence reveals that our commonalities far outweigh our differences, inspiring audiences to embrace authenticity, challenge assumptions, and foster deeper connections. Thoughtfully woven with original haikus that capture shared experiences, the film offers a meaningful opportunity for students, educators, and community members to reflect, engage, and grow together.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A featuring a panel of the film’s stars. There will also be delicious Jamaican catering and a haiku booth for guests to enjoy.

Pre-registration is highly encouraged. This event is free and open to all.
Food Provided (A delicious catered meal of Jamaican cuisine will be provided.)
