Family & Supporter Weekend

This is a parents, families, student, staff, faculty and community member fun walk, run or roll event! Held at OSU-Cascades, we will adventure around the campus on a community-building wellness activity.

Event check-in will start at Bruckner Courtyard exactly at 10:00 AM with the race starting at approximately 10:30 AM, so be sure to arrive early, check-out some of the resources available, enjoy some fun music, and meet new people! All ability levels are able to participate, from our uber-competitive runners to the casual family stroller.

We will have a 2.5K and 5K option for our campus course!

Experience will conclude right back at the start of the event (Bruckner Courtyard), and folks can stay and mingle as long as they like, along with refreshments and an opportunity for some family and community connections. We also encourage you to register for the "Brunch with the Chancellor and Dean" event and stay into the afternoon for our OSU-Cascades Showcase.

This is a free event for parents, supporters and their students. We will have time for you to chat with the Chancelor and Dean, Sherman Bloomer, after the short introductory presentation, so please come prepared with any questions you might have!

A mysterious note has arrived at the Chancellor’s office, and an important Bend Beavs relic is missing! There are a series of challenges that need to be solved and unlocked to find the missing ceremonial item and return it to Chancellor and Dean Sherm Bloomer.

Meet us at the Student Success Center at your sign-up time to participate!
Group 1: 3 to 4 PM
Group 2: 4 to 5 PM

Join us for an open skate afternoon at the Pavilion ice skating rink. Register below, and the event is FREE for students and guests attending with their supporters and family members!
NOTE: Rink opening will be based on weather conditions. We will contact guests if conditions prevent participation.
