This VIRTUAL webinar is hosted by OSU Corvallis Career Development Center.

This virtual webinar is tailored to those who are looking to obtain an outdoor conservation career in the federal government. Although there are free resources out there, this workshop will provide extensive tips and tricks that are not often shared in a free setting and are based on the expertise of the instructor, who was a Forest Service employee and hiring manager for 21 years. The content will be presented in an easier-to-understand format that will help lead you to job success. The types of careers that this workshop will benefit (but not limited to): Wildland Fire, Recreation Management Professionals, Wildlife & Fisheries Technicians, Forestry Technicians, National Park Service Rangers, & Miscellaneous careers in a federal public land management agency The curriculum that will be taught is geared toward entry-level positions, veterans who are transitioning from the service to civilian careers, recent college graduates, and those who have completed a conservation program with a nonprofit organization that is looking for paid employment.
